Before Christmas, Matt received the opportunity to apply for the plant manager job in Garden City, Kansas! And well you guessed it, he got the job and yes we are moving again! We found out the first Monday of the new year. The past two weeks we have been getting the house ready to put on the market. Matt went to Garden City last weekend for an orientation type day. Last Monday he spent most of the day with his new boss and then went to look at houses. There is more demand than supply of houses in Garden City right now and since the town is so small, there isn't a lot to choose from. We have found a house in Cimarron, Kansas that we like but its 30 mins away from Garden City. It is closer to Matt's parents house which is a good thing. Matt also has a lot of friends and family out in Southwest Kansas area.
Our house in Columbia went on the market over the weekend and we had our first showing tonight. We have another showing on Wednesday and hopefully more this weekend. Matt starts his job on Monday Feb. 2nd and will go drive to Garden City on Sunday Feb. 1st. Andrew and I will stay in Columbia till the house sells unless something else comes up. We are excited about the new adventure that is coming our way. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers on selling this house,buying a new house and the move.
