Here it is the end of October and I haven't done a post about September. Pregnancy can really throw you off!
At the beginning of September, we went to Kansas City Labor Day weekend. Matt was able to get Friday off, so we headed to KC Thursday night. We spent the weekend at my parents house. Friday my mom and sister had the day off. My mom and I went shopping and then my sister met up with us to get pedicures. After that we got some lunch and headed back home. That night, my parents watched Andrew while Matt and I went to the Royals game with my aunt and uncle. We all had a great time but they didn't win. (Doesn't matter, cause they're in the World Series!) Sitting in a stadium seat was not so comfortable for me being pregnant at all but still had a fun time.
Saturday morning my sister and I went to take some maternity pictures at this sunflower field. It was very pretty but we went too late in the day and the sun was shinning right in my face. So we headed back home. Matt went to hang out with Mike and the kids for breakfast while we were taking pictures. He met us back at the house and we headed to the Legends to meet Mitch for lunch at Culvers. Miss that place. Wish they had one in Dodge or Garden City. After that, Matt went with Mitch to hang out and have some guy time. I took Andrew back to my parents house for a nap and some rest for myself. Later that night, I met Matt, Mitch, Carolyn, Mike, Preston and Stephanie in Overland Park for dinner. We ended up going to a Mexican restaurant and since my birthday was the next day, everyone sang Happy Birthday to me!

Sunday was all about the baby shower and my birthday! My baby shower was SO PRETTY! Mom and Renee did such a great job as usual. It was great to see all of my family and friends from back home. Really miss those ladies! The baby shower was in the theme of Winnie the Pooh. We started out by having some lunch and then played a couple of games. Then we opened up gifts. So thankful for all the gifts that we received and all the diapers! Very grateful for everything. Big thank you to my mom and sister for putting together for a beautiful shower.
After the shower, we headed back to my parents house to rest. We ordered pizza and had Dairy Queen ice cream cake for dessert! Great way to end the day!
My sister in law Carolyn, her daughter Hailey and me at the baby shower.
Papa and Andrew had a long day.
The cute cupcakes for the baby shower.
Here is a link to see the pictures from the baby shower and some maternity pictures.
We headed back to Cimarron on Monday. Had a great time and it was great to see so many family members and friends!
